It is estimated that there are 600.000-1.000.000 Alzheimer's patients in Turkey. It is predicted that Turkey will be the number four in the world in terms of Alzheimer's patients in 2050 due to its rapidly aging population.
As Drogsan Pharmaceuticals, we participated in the 43rd <<N Kolay Istanbul Marathon>> on November 7,2021 for the purposes of helping the Alzheimer's patients, drawing attention to the issues of the Alzheimer's patients and their loved ones, and increasing public awareness. We supported Turkish Alzheimer's Association’s* “I Will Dance If You Run” project with Drogsan Pharmaceuticals employees from different provinces of Turkey to run for the good on behalf of the special care Alzheimer's patients. We tried to increase the recognition of the Turkish Alzheimer's Association by running with Turkish Alzheimer's Association t-shirt throughout the marathon.
* Turkish Alzheimer's Association is a civil society organization that was founded in 1997 by patient relatives and physicians specializing in the Alzheimer's diseases and operates with its 13 branches throughout Turkey. The highest priority in the association works is to create public awareness and provide public training for Alzheimer's disease and patient care and to increase the quality of life for the persons and families suffering from this disease.
